OpenID: One user name / password for the most popular sites - 06/15/09Many sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Google, Yahoo and Windows Live have been working along with many many other sites to enable the OpenId system. This allows one username and password to be used between all of these sites. It basically issues an anonymous token which is then sent to the requesting site and the site takes that token and logs the person in using the username and password from the other site. It's safe and secure and convenient!
